The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. Detailed information can be found in the sections below.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the imprint.

How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us, for example by email or when booking an appointment. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data such as browser type, operating system or time of the page request.

What do we use your data for?
The technical data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. We use data you provide to us to process your request.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, and for any other questions on data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

2. General information and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Please note that data transmission over the internet, for example when communicating by email, can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Evolvet GmbH
Georgios Pavlakoudis
Worringer Str. 20
50668 Köln (Cologne), Germany
Phone: +49 221 292037-80
Email: play@lab-e.digital

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of data protection violations, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. For North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at bfdi.bund.de.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser’s address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, and for any other questions on personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, for example through spam emails.

3. Data collection on this website

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any information on your device. We do not use advertising or tools from advertising networks.

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website. The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Audience measurement and heatmaps with Umami

To understand how this website is used and to improve it, we use the open-source tool Umami. Umami runs at analytics.evolvet.cloud on a dedicated server that we operate ourselves. The server is located in a data centre of IONOS SE in Germany. The data is processed exclusively by us; it is not transferred to third parties.

When a page is accessed, the following information is collected:

  • page visited and referrer URL
  • browser type, operating system, device type and screen size
  • language setting and approximate country or region of origin
  • time and duration of the visit
  • clicks, mouse movements and scroll depth on the page, which are evaluated as a heatmap or recording of the page visit

Umami does not set any cookies and does not store any information on your device. Your IP address is only used to determine the region and is not stored. To distinguish visits, a pseudonymous identifier is created that changes regularly. It is not possible to draw conclusions about your person from this; the data is not merged with other data sources. Input in form fields is masked in recordings.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our website and our advertising. You can object to the processing at any time pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, informally by email to play@lab-e.digital. You can also prevent the collection by deactivating JavaScript or using a content blocker.

Fonts

All fonts on this website are loaded from our own server. No data is transmitted to web font providers when the site is accessed.

Enquiries by email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

Appointment booking via Zeeg

To arrange appointments, we link to the Zeeg service (Zeeg GmbH, Germany), for example via the “Get inspired” buttons. The booking takes place on the provider’s website. The data entered there (name, email address, desired appointment, optionally company and request) is transmitted to us so that we can keep the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Zeeg’s privacy policy applies to processing on the Zeeg website.

Based on the privacy policy on evolvet.de, adapted to the scope of this website. As of October 2026.
